About Rotata:

Rotata is the only search engine of its kind currently operating on the Internet and has been devised as an online sales and advertising medium for use by everyone, website owners, webmasters and anyone involved in buying and selling online who wishes to reach the No1 position on a regular basis within their particular search criteria.

Your listing will be included on Rotata for 6 months (26 weeks) during which time it will gradually rise to the No1 position and be visible in searches of your particular web address and general searches throughout all the listings on the site.

During your listing period your website will be continually approaching the No1 position as it counts down towards the end of your listing period, effectively delivering a different set of results for each search.

Following the expiry of your listing you will be contacted by email and prompted to re-list your business.

Example:

If you searched, say, MLM/Home Business Opportunities, and ten minutes later carried out the same search, the results may be totally different, because the first set of results will have rotated upwards and possibly their listing period may have ended, allowing the next set of results to move towards the top.

Your Listing:

Unlike any of the more conventional search engines which extract a few lines from your website to display as the listing results, with Rotata you are able to compose your own introduction and you can accompany this with an image of your product or a screen shot of your homepage which when moused over will display a static image for your potential customers to review before proceeding to your website.

Searching:

Searching Rotata is very much the same as searching any other search engine. You can search by either, General Keywords/Phrases, Site Name/Address or Product/Website Type.

How Rotata Evolved:

My name is Mike Collins; I am the owner and the person responsible for the concept of Rotata. Rotata is born from five years of total frustration; disappointment and failure to reach anywhere near the top position in the search engines with any of my previous ventures.

You might say Rotata (pronounced rotator) was born from necessity, not the necessity to make money, the necessity to finally succeed whilst at the same time offering every site owner, and there must be millions, the simple opportunity to actually sell their products, get their site viewed and their information seen by the people it was originally intended for.

Like you, I have tried everything to get my site seen but no matter what I did or how much money I spent on advertising and promoting my site I couldn't get any higher with the search engines, and it frustrated me to the point of out and out anger that the Internet had become just like the ‘High Street' in that unless you are one of the big guns, The MacDonald's of this world, you had no chance of hitting the top spot.

Just like the high street, location is king, and if you can't afford the best location because your advertising budget wont stretch far enough, then you are permanently stuck in one of the side streets with just a trickle of customers if you're lucky, whilst still trying to keep your business overheads under control. For years I couldn't see any way out or around this dilemma, or maybe I wasn't really thinking of another way.

I purchased every programme I could afford to help with my SEO, Keywords and Metatags, I changed my site content regularly, because we've all heard the expression ‘Content is King' but all to no avail. I couldn't seem to get any higher than No 2,397,218 of 2,397,225 search results. I was at a total loss and on the verge of calling it a day.
